Basically, I'm having a bit of a problem getting enough protein at breakfast.

I currently use a shake, which works great, but I want to wean myself off it a bit and try something a bit more "fresh", as I'll soon be needing to take that shake a few hours after breakfast (around 11am) as a mid morning booster. I don't really want to have to take 2 shakes pre 12pm.

The only thing is I don't really like eggs, although if I could find a convenient way of separating/storing/cooking the whites (so they dont taste like rubber) I could be persuaded.

    Hey Mloc,
I find I can get quite a lot of protien from egg whites. I'm not mad about the taste either so i hard boil em, then remove the yolks and mix them up in a cup with some herbs (think all spice, thai 5 spice etc.) I have five or six of these herb jars at home so breakfast never becomes the bland monotony usually associated with high protien eating.

    Works for me anyway,

    Enjoy

You could try Amino Acid tablets or powder failing that try www.eggnation.co.uk
