    Goin unreg for this one!

Before we started having sex, me and my gf we're both virgins, We have sex frequently and I use condoms and she uses the pill, i was wondering if we had sex without a condom is it possible to get an STD even though we we're both virgins before we met?

    Cheers!

probably not - but if one of you have being playing away then yeah...i guess that's what trust is for.

you could go get tested before you stopped using condoms.
but in fairness I'd say you're ok.

Firstly condoms offer some protection against some STIs.

Secondly, there are some infections for which sexual transmission is one of the possible means of transmission, but not the only.

These two facts mean that one of you could catch an STI from the other, though the first case only applies in cases where one of you had sex with another person.

Whether to use condoms or not is a matter of balancing risks. The only 100% guaranteed way to not catch an infection sexually is not to engage in any sexual acts. Condoms do massively increase your safety from many infections though.

Getting tested would allow you both to feel more reassured if you decide you do want to stop using barrier means of contraception.

It's also worth taking note that, using the pill and condoms increases your changes of not getting pregnant.
The pill becomes less effective if a woman is ill/taking some types of medicine to fight against illness.

You could catch thrush if she has it. It can be passed on to the tip of the Penis.
