I am in a bit of a mess with Ebay,

A month ago i attempted to purchase a Camera lense for €700 and i could not finalise the payment because my paypal a/c was "unverified".

During the next few weeks i also attempted to purchase and pay for a few other items but i could not make the payments as Paypal was lcoked until i became verified. In order to get verified i had to get a small number from an old Credit Card bill and after a long long time i finally gat this and became verified.

However just when i was verified my Ebay A/C became suspended due to me not finalising the payments over the past few weeks.

To make matters worse the €700 for the lense was taken out of my Credit Card 5 weeks ago and i never recieved this item. Because my Ebay A/C is suspended i cannot make any contact with Ebay on these matters,

Please plaease surely someone else out there went through similar or can advise me what to do next? I did send a plea to Ebay looking for redemption but no answers or replies.

Is that link any good to you?

You should still be able to log into eBay it seems.

You said you attempted to purchase a month ago but could not finalise payment because you were unverified.
Then you said the cost of the lense came off your credit card five weeks ago.

How did that happen if you were unverified and couldn't finalise the payment??

Report the €700 charge to your credit card company as a disputed transaction. Ask them for a chargeback form.

I was told 5 weeks ago the lense would not be charged to me until i became verified and if after a certain amount of time i was not verified that the sale would be cancelled.

However the other day when i saw my credit card bill the €700 lense bill is on it!

I tried several times today looking up my stuff and trying to contact Ebay and all to no avail!

You need to contact paypal and dispute this with them then. If they give you the run around, contact your cc company
