XP SP2 won't ask me for password on Logon

This one is annoying, but probably something very simple.

Its and old laptop with XP SP2. It used to work fine.... so i reinstalled after an few errors. Formatted then reinstall. However i used a custom XP installation which I had messed around with using nlite.

Anyways the symptons are that although I have my account setup with admin priviledges, etc, it won't stop and ask me for a password on startup. Just goes straight through to the desktop. I can switch user between guest etc once its booted up, but I need it to be secure so that it asks for password on startup.

In regards to nlite. Can't remember exactly, but I beleive I may have checked an option or something where i had put my account name and password into and maybe its now 'auto' logging in for me. Any help greatly appreciated..

Download Tweak UI and remove the option for auto login. I'm sure there's an easier way but I can't think at the moment.

start --> control panel --> user accounts --> change the way users log on or off --> uncheck "use the welcome screen"
    sorted!

Well just used >run> control userpasswords2 and selected 'must enter password'. Seems to have worked. Case closed... ;)

EDIT: Thanks quaidox, just read you post after I posted this. Done. Cheers.

Feylya: You're forgiven... Its nearly 12 now! ;)
