    Hey everyone,

I've been making myself an online TV guide and showed it to a friend who thought it was a great idea, I was just wondering what other people thought.
you can find it here http://www.finbarspellman.com/tv
I was getting tired of not being able to get a simple guide for a few channels that would show them altogether on a single page like a guide in a magazine, so this is my attempt, just remember its under development. any comments are welcome, thanks

Much easier to read and navigate than a lot of other TV guides. It'd be great though if it wasn't as wide, so that it could be printed off easily on an A4 page. :)

Ya that is pretty good, it gives some info on the program aswell which is handy,
you can only get Mon - Fri, thats a downside (wohoo!!)
Would many people print out the guide? never thought about it really.
Would it be better to scroll down or across?

The odd time I used to but I don't need to anymore cos I have Media Cnetre which has it's own guide.

Did you actually take time to type that up? And you'd actually do that every week for people to print for free?

I'd like to say i did but, its being automatically generated! if people want to print it i've no probs with that. Actually it took me so long to get it to that stage i probably would have typed it out!!

it updates according to the current time, (except after 00:00 it displays all day, thats a bit of a glitch!) eg if it was 16:00 then it'll show all programs from 16:00 till about 06:00 plus the program which is currently on.

AFAIK there are programmes out there already that can do this for you. Ask on this forum for more details.

Nice enough, though I use www.tvguide.co.uk myself

Still, good for a no frills view.
