    heading to Marrakech in Morocco next week, just wondering if anybody can give any tips on activities etc whilst there, travelling alone & will be there for 10 days, cheers..

    Marrakech is very close to the atlas mountains and is very good for day trips into the mountains to do a bit of trekking.
    There is also a 2 day trek that a lot of people do that is good fun and a good way to meet people.
    There is a big waterfalll in the area too, but I don't remember the name, more of an overnight trip.

    The big square is always good fun and there is also a big market/souq there.

    If you have spare time you could organise a trip to the desert(merzouga) but that may be better saved for another trip.

    thanks Adrian, just thought - I didn't check out about vaccinations or anything like that, there is probably no need for any but just wondering would you know if any is required?

    Try tmb.ie or WHO, I'd get all the standard ones if I were you if possible...
