    hi guys
I just got a replacement HDD back from Western Digital and when I installed it it is not showing up on screen when I click "my computer" icon.
When i go into Device manager it shows up that the HDD is working properly and is installed.
    Im using windows XP Pro.
I have a 20gb as my master drive.
    Any suggestions?
    thanks

    Have you formatted it?

Start - Run "compmgmt.msc" Enter - Disk Drives. See if the drive is there. If it is but there's no letter assigned to it, format it and it'll be fine.

    Has to be formatted!

    Right click on "My Computer@

    Select "Manage"

    Select "Disk Management"

You should see the disk. Select "Format"
