self conscious about appearance

im a 20 year old college student, and ive suffered self esteem issues all my life, but theres on thing that i really hate about myself, my forehead. its not so much its size, but its just how vertical it is. where most people start to slope past their eyebrows, mine just goes straight up like frankenstein or something (no joke), i have long hair and i like the style like but i cant put it behind my ears because it just exposes how weird it looks, and i really dont want to cut it and get a fringe, i did last year, but i hated it and grew it out again (im male).

every night i hope that when i wake up its gonna change, but of course that isnt going to happen

im seriously considering cosmetic surgery, but i dont think theres anything that can be done about this, because they cant change the shape of your skull, im fairly okay with the rest of my appearance right now, in some ways happy, from my eyes down I even look a little bit like jonny depp, but above I just look like Frankenstein… everytime i look in the mirror i drive myself mad, its ruining my confidence, no matter how good I feel, looking in the mirror just brings me down

is there anything that can be done (surgery wise) or any long hairstyles that can hide this?

Hey, You should be enjoying yourself and living your life without worrying about your appearance. Your self esteem and confidence is the problem, not your forehead! I don't think surgery would be the best way to deal with it. ie if your not good enough without it you won't be good enough with it. You should try and work on your self esteem and confidence issues first. Everyone has their own hang up about their apearance and remember, the people that matter and who are close to you see past whatever you think is a big negative. I think you should really try to accept how you look and smile, your unique, everyone is and maybe try hypnosis, it might be able to boost your confidence and self esteem.

If the truth be known, everyone has something about their physical appearance they don't like, even fashion models. Personality is much more important in the long run. Realising this, if you still think you need a little help, go to a salon, explain your concern, and have them do a make over.

I have a high forehead and I love it! Everyone has something that they do not like about their appearance. I think that you just need to get a confidence boost.
