    Hi All,

Just a heads up to say that my good friend Dennis Martin is coming over to Ireland this month to run two of his programmes for John Brawn. Having spent a lot of time with John I can confirm that he is a nice guy and all round hard hitter. The dates for the courses are below but please visit his website for more details.

    Course titles:

    COMBATIVES-2 "OFFENSIVE MINDSET PROGRAM",

    &

    "CLOSE-CONTACT WEAPONS PROGRAM"

Date of both is the 19th of November 2006

If you get the opportunity I can promise you wont regret meeting these two leaders in Modern Combatives training!

    Hey Phil,

    How's things?

Cheers for posting the details of the Den Martin seminar. Den's stuff is top of the range. We'll worth checking out. I'm going over to train with Simon Squires and Karl Eastwood this weekend - should be good!

Some chap on on the G.T. forum mentioned that you've trained with Carl Cestari. If so, how did you get on? He's definitely one of the most talented instructors that I have ever seen.

I was thinking about splitting over to the US and training with his organization at some point - might split over to a seminar or two. Great to see gutterfighting.org back up and running.

    Good talking to you,

    Baggio.

What's the dude holding in his hand? A shears? a short sword? a dagger?

A "smatchet" used in WWII - Designed by Fairbairn I believe.

Would not want one of them in the neck. Nasty....

    Hi All,

The seminar was a great success and everyone had fun and learned skills and drills they could take home with them. An AAR has been posted on Den's forum http://selfprotection.lightbb.com/viewtopic.forum?t=1606
