    Nearly forgot about him myself, and it'll be the same over the next while as Saddam is taking centre stage.
    Any media / stories about OBL recently?
    Used to hear a lot about forces 'closing in' on him.
    I'm sure he'll reappear before Christmas to say hello.

    You'd normally hear about a tape claiming to be him emerging with "experts" verifying if it's him or not, and never actually hearing about their results. Havn't seen any of these reports in a while.

    Wouldn't it be convenient if a tape emerged just before the US mid-terms claiming that he is dead?

    Everyone was expecting the same thing in 2004, I don't think the Reps are that lucky.

    No; no media coverage of the man himself, something I'm sure the administration are happy with; would be nice to see someone bring it up in light of the Saddam thing though.

    Although the Republicans did use his image in an attack ad recently, which basically suggested that voting Democrat will be a victory for Osama... yeah, because the Republicans have been so damn successful at keeping him under control, right?
