Lucky Escape reported by the Evening Herald

    I dont normally read the Evening Herald but a colleague left a copy in my car today. It contained some excellent reporting, this time on the attempted murder of a Mr Michael Keating;

    ...Keating had a miraculous excape when a gunman discharged two shotgun blasts at his head....

    ...Senior Garda sources say..."he is a very lucky man this is not a murder inquiry. The bullet missed his head by millimetres and he was only struck by a couple of loose pellets."

    This is right up there with the story about the fellow who had a lucky escape when the bullet ricocheted off his head.....

    That Gaurd obviously hasn't a bog what he's on about. Does he think that there was a bullet and pellets aswell :confused:
