when it comes to being able to view segments from your fav TV shows online.

Since Google took over, all that copyrighted material that YouTube hosted probably looked like a nice fat cash cow for studio lawyers, so they've already started to clean house and remove it all.

The good news is that there are still lots of places on the internet where you can watch your favourite TV shows. The hard part is getting all that info in one place so you can browse/watch stuff like LOST season 3 at your leisure :)

Well here is such a place

    :)

Most of the links are sound, but I take ur point - It would mainly be used for people who are killing time in work on a Friday , and using The Company's sweet connection !!

i was actually in a bad mood earlier i actually do have 1 use for streaming sites like that, Simpsons 18 seasons is too much to download and its not worth it considering ive seen every episode.

however i did stream a my faverate episode
You Only Move Twice (Hank Scorpio Episode) because my HD got wiped and i lost it.

Er dude, that was probably your employer's firewall giving you that message and also probably automatically emailed your boss about your deviant attempts to utilise the company's I.T. resources.

but streaming is just the same as downloading it except you don't have a copy of it stored on your hard drive.

the eps that are streamed are generally not as good quality wise as divx rips, they're alot smaller too

All the stuff is still on youtube, just a matter of finding it.

And streaming, by its definition, does download a copy to your computer. But it saves it in an awkward location, generally something like c:\temporary internet files\ etc. etc.

If you were any way inclined, you could have a look for the file and keep it but as has been said already, its of a much lower quality than a non-streamed on would generally be...

If you were to download all the eps of simpsons (simpsons being just one of about 100 or so shows on that site) it would take up quite a lot of gigage you mightn't have to spare. Personally I don't see the point in downloading something you'll only watch once if theres a stream of it readily available online. I watched The office from that site, quality was never an issue. No UK Office though:(

ahh ...i have to download them ..sit back and enjoy them in HD in my room ..plus i would argue that i watch tv shows a lot more than films ....family guy seasons 1-4 have probly been watched more than my fav films
it is handy for people on lower d/l limits and probably safer
