Getting a 19inch(or maybe larger) LCD for Kitchen. Can anyone recommend a good brand and where they can be bought at a good price. Is it worth getting HD ready?? Just want this for watching TV in mornings etc for next few years.

Yep as mossy said it aint really worth it at that size.

32" and upwards is probably a good starting point for HD screens.

    I also would recommend samsung.
Panasonic and Pioneer also have good reputations.

I just bought this Sony KDL-32V2000 from Komplett.ie. Komplett seem to be the cheapest retailer selling this TV and I'm happier for it because it's handier for me!! It is currently en route to me but from the posts and threads about it over on AVForums, it seems that this is one of the best 32" LCD's on the market. :)
