    Hi all
I want to buy a tv (newly arrived, don't have a tv...) for about 500 - 800 euro. Can't decide if I should just get a normal TV with big screen (32"?) which probably only cost 500+ or buy a LCD TV which will cost a lot more and screen is actually small.
I'll mostly using it just to watch video that I downloaded over internet from laptop.
Do I really need a LCD HDTV? I mean I'm not signing up for sky or anything, it seems that's not necessary. But they look much cooler I have to admit...

Buy a monitor if all you're doing is attaching it to the laptop. You definately don't want HD if all you'll be using it on is internet videos. Waste of money and resources.

    Thanks aidan_walsh
Monitor and normal TV, which is better do you think?
TV has much bigger screen, I love to watch things on bigger screen. Plus I play console games sometimes too.
