    Not very good at this.

Anybody any advise as to how I can upload my photos?. I don't have my own website, so if you have any suggestions as to where these could be hosted, I'd be grateful.

 i LOVE the first one, that kind of texture makes my tummy happy.
the second one is unclear, it doesnt have the grace and UMPH of the first one. its just the angle of the bird
    still, nice work :D

The first one is def better alright.
If you can, it’s a good idea to consider the composition of the whole photo, rather than just the main subject. If you look at the swan on the right, you have cut his tail end off slightly. To compensate for this you could crop the image after its been taken. Composition is the kind of skill that will come with time though, as your eye gets used to seeing things, so to speak, so don't worry about it too much. best way to learn is to just get out there and play with your camera. Don't be shy :)

    Thanks for the comments!.
I actually prefer the second one, but I think that's more to do with the the content, rather than the actual picture itself.

first one is pretty good nice tones, as has been said composition is always a consideration some people are better at it than others, i suppose with time you develop an eye for it hopefully :)

if your going to be taking a good number of photographs and wish to upload them onto the net i'd suggest Flickr you can get a free account and it's got lots of features. A good number of users here have a flickr account.
