taking a year out

The Bollox

I am currently in my third year of a 4 year degree course. One thing I really want to do is travel the world and I would really like to do it next year. It was not an option to do it this year or last year seeing as this is the last year my particular course is being run (so if I fail I am f*cked). However 4th year will not change. So I would like to take a break from the constant study and enjoy my youth. However this is the tricky part, I don't know If I will go back if I take a break now. I also feel the stress eating away at me this year and feel I might collapse next year if I don't take a break, it's kinda a double-edged sword.

I would like to get some feedback from people who were in my position and took the year out, how did it affect you? did you go back? also I would like to hear from the ones who stayed with it, how did you find the stress in 4th year?

I realise this isn't quite PI material, but I couldn't think of a more suiting place, there is no universal students forum

from what ive seen people tend to leave at the last year
i have spoken to a few that have and they didnt bother going back.
so i suggest you get stuck in and finish it... and enjoy your youth after you finished :P
