Good thing there are plenty of southerly facing coves along the waterford coastline :D

I know a few good places around the bay, now I just need a guide to photographing shooting stars. :D

    Hi Fenster

    Film or digital?

Anyway what seems to work for me and night skys is

    Tripod mounted camera
    ISO : 50-100
    Aperture : F2.8-3.5
    Time : 15-20 Seconds

best thing would be to get your camera out one night and get an idea for yourself.

If your using digital turn your noise reduction on and any noise filtering on it sucks having to clean up the image later.
