    Hi Mike,

The Dell printers are slightly cheaper and have a scanner built in. I bought one a few weeks ago and it does the job. I've only printed b+w but reviews on the web suggest that it's great for photos.

The black cartridge ran out quickly but I bought kits on ebay for the black and colour cartridges and refilled the black one.

No USB cable with the Dell one nor is there a printer cartridge both are included in the Lidl one and in LIDL they have the refill kits for 2.50Euro each. Also you will need to pay for delivery with Dell. So all in all a good price in Lidl if you just want a printer and not a scanner also.

I got one but sadly its not working as yet
The printer insists that the tricolor ink cartridge supplied is not compatible.
This is despite the fact that the offending cartridge (no.343 c8766E)
came in the sealed Hewlett Packard box with the printer.
    Anyone else got this problem?

Is this the same printer that there is a recall in the papers today?

You get ink cartridges with Dell printers.

At least they were supplying them last week.

Seen in the Indo today that these printers are on a recall from Lidl,HP has informed Lidl that due to a production error the printer wont accept corresponding ink cartridges and displays error message when cartridge is inserted....
Please return the product to your nearest lidl store for a full refund
