Haven't tried it myself yet but the feedback on the betfair forum is mainly negative. Anyone tried it yet

yeah, it is terrible. You'd need a magnifying glass to see what's going on in the lobby.... You can only sort the tabs one way, so if you want to get into a 1/2 game you need to sort by stakes, and then scroll all the way down.. They have no filterering mechanism as far as I can see. Most people with a normal screen resolution of 1024 X 768 won't be able to have more than two tables open at the same time. Also, if you have one table open... and decide to open another table - the entire client has to restart!

The old software was the only client that worked in college. The new one is blocked

Seems like I'm not missing much tho.

I heard its the software that used to be used by Pokerchamps.com.
    Its a strange move.

if your a one at a time table player its fine on the enlarge table otherwise you would need specs.played in the site preview aussie freeroll on friday and they hand a few complaints about the delay between the deals, about 10 secs, pretty annoying and its still the same.appart from that i like it.

I dont mind it, the entire client doesnt have to restart if you open a new table, if you know ure gonna be 4 tabling pick the 4 table set up, this opens 4 indivual lobbys etc. pretty neat for that

but the section to type in raises is awful, i hated it at first but today i found it ok,

I didn't mind it too much at first, but now I'm playing on it I hate it. At the final table of their $500 sixshooter now, and there's an average delay of 25 seconds between each hand. Extremely frustrating, might as well be playing a turbo the amount of hands we're seeing per level, absolute joke. I'm withdrawing all my money after this tourney and not returning until they improve it dramatically.

i sat down the other night to play on the new software. Played for about half an hour and then i took my entire betfair balance outa there and wont play on it again. it so brutal

The fixed layout is terrible - I preferred separate movable windows for each table.
I haven't found hand history yet (does it exist?). The old hand history let you see mucked showdown hands - great for spotting bluffers/fishers.
And I'm missing my cash-in money from last night.

Some aspects of the new software is good, particulary the ability to remember your folded hand and the multitable view is also good. But for every good feature they have added, they have taken away or fekd up something else. It was nice to be able to read the strength of your hand, especially when playing multiple tables.

And there are alot less MTTs available from what I can tell. I opened a Poker Stars Account last nigh, but I hated it, so need to get my money outta there pronto!

Got my rb from them so tried it this morning, turned 35$ into 150$ and pressed withdraw, wont be going back other than for a few tournies with big overlays

its feckin brutal. takes about 2 mins to start up. chokes up the whole computer while its doing that and the layout is a mess.

I reg'd for a 5 dolla STT. When it was starting the software crashed. everytime i tried to log back in, it crashed again - no error or anything it would just completely disappear. feckers never even game me my fiver back either.

This site just takes the piss. I only used it there as I had some money in my Betfair account. I played in a $10 SnG and I got disconnected about 10 times. I'm not sure if this is Betfairs fault or is it my internet connection, but I do know that Full Tilt or GJP did not disconnect once while the Betfair kept disconnecting. Not onlt that but I was ulucky enough to get my AAs cracked twice.
As outlined in this thread the software is very bad as well. Difficult to navigate and not all that much happening in the way of tournaments either.
Not going to be using it again.
