That's a fair slice of humble pie.

Duplicate IDs are frowned upon, but I didn't see a thing...

I sold the red Stag to a guy in sunny Cyprus and regretted ever since as it was a great condition one and i have yet to find one as good. i have now another stag in BRG which has now been painted and it looks fabulous will be on the road to-mm weds just some little bits left to do but Will leave them for when it gets a bit warmer. i will take some pictures of my Stag maybe to-mm as the weather is promised nice i,m sure you will love it

Welcome back Adam, I think most people guessed it was you under a new name
the Stag/Roscommon posting was a bit of a giveaway ;):D

I have to admit I spotted it early on but was curious to see how long you would carry on for with your new ID

    Congratulations on the new Stag.

Frank here is your ols Stag now in sunny Cyprus i just got an email from my good friend who bought it off me a took it back to his home place Cyprus. he has explained the following it's now a diamond enjoy

    Adam

    Hi Caroline & Adam,

As promised I am sending you some pictures of the Stag, which just completed
its restoration. It has not been totally cleaned yet so it is a bid dusty,
but I think you will get an idea of the work thats been done. Briefly the
folowing: New pax compartment floors, new boot floor, new front bumper, new
lights throughout, new boot interior panels and carpets, new paint, new
Michelin tyres, new battery, new engine accessories - from coil to water
pump, to timing chains, to brake master pump, new silicon ignition leads and
many others - new leather upholstery and interior side panels, new veneer
set, new exhaust and many others I cannot remember of hand. I have paid
about 5000 pounds to Rimmer brothers plus another 1000 for the new paint,
1000 for the new interior and 1500 to the mechanic for labour. Surely its a
lot for such a car, I will never recover my money, but I dont care, as long
    as I like it.

The car drives beautifully on its new tyres and suspension bushes. Its
performance is now much better thanks to overhauled carbs - existing ones
    had
two different types of carb needles and broken floats in the carbs which
    caused flooding and hesitation.

I got an MOT and next week the car will get Cypriot classic car plates.

Hope you are all well and best regards.

    Nicolas

P.S. In one of the photos you will see one of my modern beauties a Porche
911 Turbo, chipped and tuned to produce 550bhp. No comments! I know I am
    crazy!
