I boughr an OCZ Rally2 flash drive a while ago, what I want to be able to do is secure(password protect) the contents of the drive, but keep a space that can be viewed and the files opened without a password, like to leave a word doc with name and phone number on it.

I would also like to be able to protect the word doc with my details from being deleted. Is there any free software out there that would allow me to do this? Preferably that I would not have to install on computers that use the drive(I will be using it in school)

TrueCrypt is a good start. Not sure if it'll do everything you want but it's a good start. It's free!
