75 rebuy in the fitz

After a long night (early morning) at the cash tables i got up around 6pm and decided to go into the fitz for the 45 rebuy. i didnt relaise until i got in that it was a 75 rebuy with extended 30min levels. i must say i thought this was a great tournament with LOTs of play especially for a rebuy tournamant. we got 3000+500 chips to start with 4K for rebuy and 5K for topup. it mena there was around 490,000 chips in play between 60 odd people. the standard of play at it was very mixed, ranging from very por (the minority) to very strong, ept players etc.
My tournament went quite well i got off to a good start callign pre flop raise with AK, and getting it all in versus 56o, it actually held up. there was an english guy at our table who played very loose for the rebuy period which was great for us as it menat we would have a few chips by the freezeout period.
When it reached the freezeout i was moved pretty quickly to table 1, with Daithio and an english woman who won 40K the week before apparently, so i thoughti would have my work cut out. at 200-400 it got a little crapshooty from 40 players to 30. at 3 table i thought there was a lot of play again, and flops were being seen quite frequently. i got quite shortstacked after calling a few raises with marginal hands and either missing the flop/getting it snapped off by a re-raise. so when i got to 7,800 i pushed after a raise and a call with 44, and got a call from the initial raiser with AQ. luckily for once the 44 held up, and i was back in action. the next hand in my small blind i limp with 68o to see a flop after it folded to button who calls. Denis Reyes checked the BB. flop came 79T. i bet out 2K and denis pushed all in for 15K, i quickly called to see denis`s T7, no help for him and he was crippled. i was sittign very comfortable with 45K at this stage i belive average was c25K. when i get AKo UTG. i flat call, its folded to SB who completes and the BB pushes all in for 35K  , i thought about it for a while and realised im way ahead of his range here and right enough he turns over A8o. AKQ flop and i got into a massive chip lead.
We are soon down to 2 tables with the blonds at 1500-3000. i have now got around 90k stack. its folded to me ont he SB and i raise to 12000 with 77 (sorry)denis pushes all in here for 31K, and i go into the tank for a bit and finallly call as i thought again i was ahead of his range. also its a fairly affordable chance for me to knock out a good player. i call and he shows A9h, 9 on the flop and flush on the turn mean i have built him up. comments?
I start to get a bit more aggressive and build my stack up to c105K by the final table.
First hand of the FT a shortstack puts in half her chips as a raise 12K, and i push all in to isolate. i thought it was suspicious at the time that she didnt just push, and when she turns over KK i realise i was right. a T on the river and she is out in 9th. again i stay in pretty aggressive mode, but showing only premium hands, as there is another big stack of 120K, we stay out of each others way for the most part. by the time we get to 5 handed it is certainly at crapshoot stage again (5.30 am) blinds at 8K 15K, avergae 95K. its push or fold with not all premium hadns beign shown. the button pushes into my BB with 55K and i look down to ATs, and call. he shows KT and the K on the river is enough to get him back into contention. here is where id like some advise...
I have 65K, and its folded to my BB the first time, i push all in the next two hands and get back up to where i was 100K, with the other players on 80K 100K105K and 200K. the chip leader is in the BB and i look down to A7o, should i still push here 5 handed after pushing the last 2 and not showing into the CL?. basically i didnt think about my image and pushed, got called by KJS, and he flopped a straight, i know i was ahead going in but with a top heavy structure maybe i should have let someone else go nuts?
anyway it was a very nice tourney to play one id like to everyweek, the only gripe i have is the payout structure. it was sooo top heavy it really annoyed me on my way home. 4,000, 2000, 1000, 725, 400. I thought after 8 hours of play it should be a littlemore rewarding.

The final hand is a tough one. Normally I think it's an autopush, but mainly because you've been pushing so much the last few hands I think I might fold. It's a terrible call from KJ though, and essentially you got unlucky.

I don't think top heavy is bad at all given the small field but I do think it was going to lead to deals being done. I think paying 5 or 6 would have been fine but it should be something like

    3500
    2300
    1400
    800
    400

and to hell with paying all 9 at the FT at least one and a half times there entry fee back. 10% of the field should be the max paid imho and this should be a standing well advertised policy.

Very small gripe in the context of playing a very enjoyable game. I'd love if this was a regular Saturday night game as its a nice size and structure. I personally was playing for the top 2 spots so got a bit fancy with AK with two tables left and ran into a poker on the flop! Almost managed to miracle max a come back but my second triple up attempt failed!:p

Very funny last night watching Smurf on mega tilt dog her nemises with A7 v AJ

    A74 flop

    Turn J

River the case 7!! And the guy actually slumped out of his chair. Richie turns to him (he was not in the form for dealing or listening to this guy whining at the table all night) "And that's how we do it in Ireland!!"

    LMAO!!
