Information on Irish BF2 Team

Hey all.

I am team captain for both the Inf and Conquest Teams.

Team is registered at http://www.esl.eu/eu/bf2/team/2111472/. Please speak to me on IRC for password.

Next steps are :

All players should join and idle @ #bf2.nations on quakenet. All Irish players should do this and also idle in #teamireland.bf2, this is not optional. All players should register an account at ESL and ensure you have the CORRECT information on your player profile, and a picture of themselves uploaded to there profile.

Once this has been done ESL will then award the captain, and the players in your team "National Player" status.

The first playday for this cup, is 3 WEEKS TODAY (November 19th).

So any player that is interested in playing for Ireland in either the BF2 Inf or BF2 conquest competition please register above.

I hope to have trials on this Sunday Night, 5th November 2006. I will arrange to have a server set up and add a teamspeak channel on the tig teamspeak server.

Further to the above.

There will be around 8 positions to be filled for the inf team, 5 main players and up to 3 subs.

As for the conquest team it will be around 11 players, 8 main and 3 subs.

I have an idea who the best players for the inf team are already, with players coming from tig, nrg, 1st IB and some public or ex clan players.

As for the conquest team, again the inf roles are easy to fill, however I will need some decent pilots both in planes and choppers, a good chopper gunner and a good tanker and apc'er. Please keep these roles in mind for Sunday night.

Can people please reply here confirming that they are interested in trialing, and please list the position that you would be interested in.

you'll need a solo gunner to compete with any of the european teams, not to mention the english teams. , i don't know if they would play or not, but if you can contact paven (is he irish?) from GFF he'd be your best bet for a plane pilot.

Inf team will be 5 players and conquest will be 8. It will be best players, also considering team play, that will make the teams.

Not sure how far we will get, but at least Ireland will have representation in it.=

Hi Root,just to answer you,Pavan is not Irish m8,furthermore he has given up BF2 :eek: but a new upcoming GFF server might persuade him back

I assume the ESCC tags i see them wearing on NRG server recently is connected to this team?

Nope [SCEE] is a new clan that has been started by EVD, Tjarn and a few others. Best of luck to them.

thats a shame, pavan was a savage pilot. he singlehandedly made me despise operation clean sweep.

OK trials will be tonight, initially for conquest and then for INF. If the conquest trials take longer then we will do the inf bit later in the week, however the conquest trial should show the inf players anyhows. Server details are in #teamireland.bf2 on quakenet.
