The second one is particularly good, right in the heart of the action.

Silly question (perhaps), but are you in the water for these or shooting from a boat?

    Yeah near Lahinch Katie

Peter I was actually in the water beside the guys. Wetsuit and flippers.

Nice work, these are very good. Everything seems to blend in very nicely, well captured. Thanks for sharing, must add you to my flickr.

great stuff... Nice to get the different perspective, instead of seeing shots taken from the beach. Bit over saturated perhaps, but good shots all the same

I really like the second one too.

Where did you get the housing, paudie?

Jazus Paudie they are mighty!!!! As someone else said it makes a change ;-). The faces are a bit dark on my monitor. I just calibrated it with my new Spyder2 and it is taking some getting used to

Edited so as not to look as silly as Roen makes me feel :D:p

    Lol

On topic: Really like the second one too. Could do with a little bit of a crop maybe.

They don't seem as wide as I'd have expected for 10mm (not that I have any great experience with wide angle), were they taken at the longer end of the lens?

Good stuff paudie! So jealous! Where did you get the housing? How's it working out for you.

Love the empty wave shots on flickr. So you heading to Aileens next ;)

Thanks for all the replies guys.
These were taken at the 22mm end, I had tried shooting at the 10mm end earlier and I wasn't close enough so I tried the long end for this session. I got the housing from www.splwaterhousings.com (i think thats the site).

I have to set most of the settings before I jump in so I'm still getting used to what I need to be shooting. I was using Av and I had control over the aperture in the water, still getting used to the controls so I wasn't able to shift the exposure. I might set it to over expose by a few stops the next time. (tomorrow hopefully)

    Thanks again guys.

PS. Aileens, you kidding me? I was getting hammered by 5 foot on Saturday. Aileens is still a while away :)
