that was absolutely fantastic. hilarious and very poignant.

a genius of a wrap-up, definitely finishing on a high. Should get a BAFTA or something.

Dr Mahmood's a Pakistani.. but he's very open about it.

That was some savage acting indeed.
Brought a metaphorical tear to the eye some of those scenes.

    Sniff! :(

As an hour it flew past, but a bit too sentimental for me towards the end. Or maybe I can't cope with high emotion.

The episode is being released on DVD tomorrow.

On 6 November a new box set is out, featuring the three series plus the two Christmas specials and the finale episode. Will cost around £35.

To avoid frustration and being generally ripped off in the shops here I suggest buying either online.

Just caught the last 20 minutes.. forgot all about it but what i saw was very sad stuff!

The documentary on after it was very good though.. except JK Rowling who over-analysed every little detail in the show!

I thought it was brilliant and I cried for most of it as it was a bit close to home for me i.e. the circumstances of my own mother! some wonderful scenes.

OMG Denise actually did some work for a change too.

I loved it and it genuinely touched me. It really went out on a high and everyone involved deserves a big pat on the back.

that was okay she was taking about family it was people like jimmy mcgovern with their political analyse of a very simple but well written show that was OTT

Loved it. Brilliant. Some genuinely funny moments.

Shed a tear, which up until now had been only for special occasions...like The Lion King :o

My mother has it on video, can't wait to watch it. She said it was brilliant and is going to watch it again.

I loved it - didn't let me down at all - beautifully written, and I thought it was very corrie-esque in the way it juxtaposed drama and comedy so well. Fantastic, I wish I'd sky+'d it, can't wait to see it again.
the bit where nana thanked Barbara for looking after her, and the bit where baby Norma had the red ribbon had me in tears

It was one of the best things on the telly in a white. A great way to end a class show. I hope it will be repeated on BBC3.

My favourite line - "she's only lugging round a bag of pis's Barb, its not keyhole surgery".
