By the grace of god, I have found out that there are 6.2 million sheep in Ireland.

I now need to know what is the population size of all the donkeys in Ireland.

Someone has to have this information.

    Any help, greatly appreciated!!!

Don't have the total figures to hand but I do know that there are 2 in Pigheads local area. Fred and Ringo. With boards nationwide user appeal to hand I;'m sure we can tot up the sum total by midnight.

And if we don't, Pighead will throw some magic dust in the air and we shall have another hour to solve this excellent question.

Total amount of donkeys so far:2

Try the CSO, ISPCA, and Donkey Sanctuary.

Moved to TCN: I just know this is going to get kinky.

I was thinkin of the CSO, but in all fairness, if I ring them and ask about the donkey population of Ireland, theyre gonna get suspicious. Im gettin enough stick here!!!

And no, this is not gonna get kinky!!! This is something I genuinely wanna find out. Any kinkyness, whether sheep or otherwise, will not come from my person. Thats a personal guarantee:D

The donkey sanctuary in cork might have a few pointers.

Any donkey fans, PM me. This does not have to be a solo venture:)

Since 1969 we have taken over 11,800 donkeys into our care in the UK and Ireland.

Donkeys came to England with the Roman invasion of Britain in AD 43.
Like the bunies they should be deported henceforth

Yes it's a conspiracy - and we've to blame Canada because it's their document.

Guidelines for humane killing of horses, mules and donkeys by firearms
The animal must be adequately restrained to ensure proper placement of the shot. The muzzle of the firearm must be placed close to the animal’s head, above the eyes, pointing in the required direction (Figure 1). The optimal distance from the muzzle to the head is 3 to 5 cms (1 - 2"). The bullet or shot should enter the skull at the point where imaginary lines crossing from each eye to the opposite ear intersect (Figure 2). The direction of the shot should be down towards the withers (Figure 1).

Ask the CSI for the numbers of farm animals in the country. If it doesn't include donkeys then ask them about donkeys.

I'm sure you could enquire about a census of agriculture.
