Finally got my netgear setup and am using "voipcheap.com" to make outbound calls. The problems I am having on and off are

    1) When I call someone, I cant hear them but they can hear me fine.

    2) We can both hear each other but there might be a delay (2-3sec's)

    3) Works fairly ok

Before I got my ata I was using voipcheap's computer software and there direct dial facility where you punched in your number and then the number you wanted to ring and the call quality was always 100%

I am on esat's 1021x128 dsl service as far as I remember, have included some screen shots of my netgear user interface. Maybe if someone else here uses Voipcheap they could maybe have a look and tell me if I missed anything. I am also running a software firewall (ZA) and have tried calls with it on and off but no difference

    Cheers

Ok a little bit more messing around and seem to have got rid of the problem where the other person could hear me but I could not hear them and have also got rid of the 2-3 sec delay. The only think I seem to be left with now is an echo on my end. Another words when I speak I can hear myself, any ideas

    Cheers

I had a similar problem could here incoming (i.e. speaking clock) but no voice went out. Spent days with Blueface support trying counless combinations of setting. I eventually replaced it with a Linksys Pap 2 ata adapter. I was on wireless broadband and the provider maintained it was not his problem. Some time later he upgraded his equipment and changed the ISP provider and voila the Netgear worked straight out of the box. This probably is not much help to you but the fault may not lie with either the Netgear or the VOIP provider.
