    2.10 Ascot

    Ballycassidy

Likes the ground, 10 lbs lighter than it was when it won a class 2 over the same distance in April. (not to mention, ground and jockey are the same today)

Also only beaten by Yes Sir, one of the best jumps horses of the year, in its last race (which was a class 1) It was also 10 lbs higher in the weights in that race.

9/1 with boyles, 8/1 with paddy

    3 for me today:

    1:10 Ascot - Andreas
Dropped back in class, he is the better horse out of these. Ok form, proven on distance. Top RP & Topspeed horse. There is also a profitable Fav record non handicap chases at Ascot.

    2:05 Newmarket - Empire Day
Suited to the ground, suited to the distance. Good Trainer record here. Good Jockey record here. Proven on the course. Top RP rated horse.

    2:55 Naas - Zum See
Good Trainer Record here. Good form. Proven on the course. Proven on the distance. Should be right up there.

    Never posted here before.

Just got a tip for the last hurrah, 1.40 Ascot.

This guy has been very good to me so far with 3 out of 3 in the last month.

Got a tip for Noisy Silence in the 420 at Newmarket, it came from the same guy that tipped Authorised which won last week at 25/1 :D A little shorter today at 4/1 but I'll have some of that.

Just in case nobody reads the other thread:

    Wetherby 1:45
Katchit - 2pts win. Has run well so far this season and I like to oppose decent flat hurdles making their debuts over jumps. 2nd

    Ascot - 1:40
Vinmix De Bessy - 1pt each way. UP
A small each way for a decent ex french who was making great strides with his career in England until finishing lame last time. Off a nice weight here so a small each way in case Gary Moore has him in tip top shape.

    Naas 2:55
    Southern Vic - 5pts win Wins 7-4
Has won well after a break before and this horse jumps so well that I think he'll break his rival's hearts today. Zum See is not a reliable sort and the main opposition should come from slim pickings. A great race in prospect but I'll be siding with Ted Walsh's star.

    NAAS - 4:25
    Ponmeouth - 10pts each way
Quite a big bet for this race because I think this horse is a certain placer and may even reverse placing with the favourite in receipt of ten pounds.

The Spoonplayer - 2pts each way
Just because I've been waiting for this one to run and I'll have to have an interest.

    3:25 Wetherby

    Our Vic - 5pts Win Wins 6-1
An old favourite of mine and one that people will always try and oppose. He's quirky alright but has a lot of class and is a very exciting runner today.

    Ayr 3:00

Ulysees 5pts each way 8-1 UP

Ran a blinder last time out to finish 4th and the trainer thinks a lot of this one. Backed it last time out each way and got paid, I think I'll be paid again today.

I backed Desert Quest just about every time he race last year, (including a nice one at Cheltenham) but for some reason....probably cause there is just too much racing on today, I somehow missed it. Hopefully that's not a sign of things to come.

ended up not backing my ol' pal Ten Shun due to him not being proven on the ground.

finished a very respectful 2nd though, so i know now it can go any ground over that distance.

Will definitely be backing it in its next race once the weight isn't overboard
