Anyone got any idea of maps that would show data links and bandwidth between the US, Ireland and UK/Europe.
Just wondering if these were available anywhere. I remember seeing a visual representation of them before but I can't seem to find it.

I know 360networks laid a cable from US - Ireland but I can't find any maps on their site :(

    Any info appreciated :)

How about the global Crossing Map?

    http://www.globalcrossing.com/network/network_interactive_map.aspx

I'm sure they only show their own network but sure it's something at least.

IIRC 40% of ALL trans atlantic fibre capacity runs Ireland-US with the Hibernia Atlantic Fibre which is what the 360 network fibre is now called , we have very large bandwidth available to London via another hibernia fibre to stockport or via global crossing to Lands End and there are a fair few other fibres too . An Ireland - London pipe is €100 a Mbit a month max , totally uncontended , if you are on a MAN.

We have to pick up UK-Europe connections in London then, again there is scads of it.

Ireland direct to Europe is insignificant

TeleGeography offers a free map showing that kind of data, although if you want a decent copy you'll have to cough up the cash.
