Mods, I'm not sure if posting poker news is cool?

Paddypowerpoker Search for WSOP Bubble Boy
The last person knocked out of the World Series of Poker main event before the money – traditionally know as ‘bubble boy’ – whistles an unhappy tune. It is a lament of love and loathing - $10,000 invested: return on investment $0.

It is a cruel blow Mistress Poker mete’s out on her suitor - after outlasting almost 8,000 other players for her affections she discards him into the unwelcoming, uncompromising Las Vegas night.

But this year, paddypowerpoker.com reaches out with a sympathetic hand to ‘bubble boy’.

Hoa Mahn Nguyen from Sunnyvale, California, is coming to the Irish Open 2007 - Europe’s largest and most historic no limit hold ‘em tournament. If paddypowerpoker.com can find him!

The company is appealing to the poker community to help track down the elusive Hoa Mahn Nguyen.

Call us, call him, email his brother, pass a note to his aunt, do whatever it takes to get Hoa Mahn to Dublin over Easter weekend for the Irish Open 2007. His package includes a ticket into the main event, flights and accommodation.

This year’s event, which will be filmed for TV, is the biggest in Europe with a €2 million guaranteed prize pool and a capacity for 800 players paying €3,300 (+€200 reg) to play over Easter Weekend 2007 against the best players in the world.

What sets the Irish Open apart from other poker tournaments is its historic legacy, unique atmosphere, famous Irish hospitality, and legendary reputation for camaraderie and ‘craic’.

Last year, Dubliner Vincent Melinn won the €350,000 first prize in only his second ever live tournament and the final table was broadcast live across Europe -- a world’s first.

He will be ppp's next picture advert. Picture on a billboard of a real live donkey mounting him.
The slogan reading 'Of all the losers he's the biggest loser'.

Send him the $10,000 anonymously.

btw mr power, why did your website limit me to €55 @ 100/1 Greg Raymer for the Dublin EPT? I had to crawl off to Betfair and put another €60 on at 150.

Already 84 finds on Google for him, all mentioning Paddy Power Poker

Wouldn't it of been more appropriate to give the bubble at last years open entry

Methinks this would attract slightly less publicity.

    It's hardly altruism.*

Anyhoo, just call Jerry Seinfeld, he knows where the bubble boy lives.

*And rightly so btw, I'm not being cynical.

classic ppp story. potentially costs €3,500 (entry fee), but probably won't cost them anything, and get a full-page story in bluff. also, far cheaper and more effective than a full-page ad.

What they need in that company are a few less arch-capitalists like Karl H and a few more followers of Karl Marx. Dump the H, add the Marx :D
