i witnessed a hand on thursday night...i was at the next table:

It was a 1/2 50 quid by-in omaha table that had transformed into a retarded we all have way too much money table - no names mentioned but there was a strong cork contingent at the table...

a 7k+ pot went to a showdown - K high board - won by one pair AAxx - other player amazingly had the massive hand of one pair Kxxx

I played at more sensible NLH tables - where is was soft - but we had many language issues - those scandi's do like to gamble tho!! :)

We only played the €50 game so we didn't have to pay the big rake :) The forced blinds were 1 - 2 - 5 - 10 with an optional 25.

What games are being played? What stakes and what is the rake for each stake?

I might head in tonight for some O8 if there's a game going.

Do they have any 5-10 or 10-20 O8 limit games going on?

Excuse my ignorance, but is this the Regency hotel where the EPT is going to be? If I brought up €100-€200 would I get a NL cash game?

    :o

You might be able to make out some of the games in the background of this picture in Antesup:

Peeko, I'd say €100-€200 would be way too tight for any of these games. I'd imagine they will be a mutated version of the cash games going on around the country, meaning BIG stacks at every table. Some of the lads there might verify.

might be better heading to the fitz or the drogheda so! I could just sit on 200 and hope for a double up!

Went into this last night. Some absolutely sick action in the 10-20 Omaha and 5-10 Holdem games.

I was playing the 1/2 NL game and came out with a nice profit from one crazy table, where pots of 1500 were standard enough.

I witnessed this sick hand last night at the 5/10 table.

Loads of limpers and someone makes it 65 from EMP. Raymer and a bunch of others call. UTG then reraises to 350. 4 people call and see a flop of Q57 rainbow. UTG leads out for 650. Everyone calls. Turn is a 4. UTG moves in for 2k or so. 3 callers. River is a brick. SB checks Greg Raymer bets 2500.

UTG shows aces, Raymer 68o, SB mucks. So sick.

The cash games at the regency are baby **** soft. You woudn't see worse players than the scandies in the online penny tables.

not necessarily,if the stacks are deep enough and the players bad enough

6euro per player per half hour is a big rake.

It can work out more than that. They're taking €5 from every pot even smallish ones.

saw pots of over a grand being taken down with A-high!
