I'm thinking of joining the above gym. They have a special offer on at the minute, its actually not the special an offer, more a handy convenience. I was just wondering if anybody is a member of this gym, and how they rate it. I have been a member of other gyms in the past, and found that if they were located close to home/work that I would frequent them a lot more.
The special offer they have at the moment is 250e, for 3mths. Seems a tad expensive but it is a good way to judge if you will attend the gym much over the course of a year. I know Carlisle have an offer of 295e ( and whatever the joining fee is too) for the year, but it would be a lot harder to get to.

Any body any reviews on Westpark so?

I was a member of Westpark for four years, three of them in the old building they used to have and one year in the new one where they are now.

Pros - Nice staff there, and a lot of classes.

Cons - Absolutely jammed. There just weren't enough weights and machines to go round and I just got sick of waiting and waiting to use equipment.
    Also never enough car parking.
I know all gyms are busy in the evenings but I'm now in Carlisle and even if it's stuffed you'll always find some piece of equipment free.
Westpark is also very expensive in comparison to Carlisle.

As you said though there's no point joining up if you're not going to frequent the place.

    Cheers for that. :)

I'll probably be heading over before work, so I hope it won't be too jammed up.
