    Hey All,

Quick question, I am living in a development where I can only connect with one cable provider (Not any of the big boys either).

My question is, what would happen if I connected my cables (which are labelled in the cabinet, that I have sneaky access to).

Anyone have any exerience with this sort of thing? Is there something else they would have to do to connect me? Is it that simple? If so, where could I get the connections, they look like screw in versions of RF cables.

    SG

You will probably get away with it for a few weeks, but if its anything like the apartment blocks down here in Waterford, they regularly check these cabinets for illegal tapping.

Personally I would advise against it.

It's theft. Illegal everywhere in EU and they check regularly. You can be convicted of criminal offence and sued also for payment of "back subscription".
