It has been discussed at length on the radio.

I got a nitelink home a couple of months ago.

Loads of piss heads down the back giving it loads. Some lad starting kicking the back side window and it fell out. For the rest of the trip home each lad had it in turn of pushing some other lad out the window.

Too many scum bags on the late 77's.

Was it a 77 that over turned a few years ago at Christchurch when a guy grabbed the wheel?

That was harsh, but still couldnt help laughing

I'm thinking Indiana Jones - last crusade, Zeplin scene

Seriously though can drivers refuse entry onto a bus?
The drivers of the 77 route must be familiar with whose a troublemaker and who isnt? Pub owners can bar from pub's why cant bus drivers do similar?

Ever been on the 77? Loads of trouble-makers, and nearly as many messers.. Especially at night.

As far as I can see, the drivers are more or less powerless, or have been instructed to be.
For instance, if someone is smoking, the driver does not have responibility to apprehend the smoker, but they are to radio ahead for Dublin Bus staff to meet up, or Gardai if things gets more serious.
Years ago, the driver would kick people off and tell people to stop smoking, but these days they must have been told to avoid confrontation to avoid lawsuits etc...

I've seen so many knacks just get on the bus without paying right in front of the driver, and him do nothing.

It's probably not safe for the driver to do anything anymore. He'd probably get the **** kicked out of him. It must be a miserable job doing those routes.

Found this on a Canadian guy's blog. Do those seats look familiar to anyone? :)
