Does anybody know of 2 Hotels or Restaurants that are open for Christmas. Due to a family bereavement we don’t want to be at home this xmas… we fancy dining out, it’s the less painful option. Any suggestions welcome…

Not so sure where would be open in Kilkenny for dinner. I know you can get it most of the hotels on the day, but am pretty sure you have to be staying there. Might be worth ringing the Newpark or Ormonde hotels?

almost all hotels in the town are open for xmas...
