Mouse and keyboard, will it make any difference on FPS online gaming if I use cordless keyboard/mouse, Was told it does but not sure myself. Advice would be welcome.

I say yes, i bought a mx1000 ( the top of the range wireless mouse ) And it sucked big time. I would always go with a corded kb/mouse combo. As there is a tiny delay, but its a delay i notice. Plus the wired mice have a much better resolution. tey something from the razer range. or something like lo logitech l7 or mx518. all 3 are amazing. keyboard are a personal thing aswell, as i have to press the keys to see if they are stiff or soft. But stay away from thr z-board. Its useless imo.

Saitek do some nice keyboards. Aswell as microsoft.

Hmmmm MX510 got good reviews on amazon. Wired with optical but has everything else in abundance. Looks nice to.

Thanks again mate, just got one of my mates from work to put aside one for me. 53 euro's but as u say, to get the best u most pay for it, not much point buying crazy ass pc then having crappy kb/mouse.

Nah its not fault, i thought that too. But this is the second one i have, i just find it sluggish for Fps games, Its not fast enough.

You cant go wrong with a razer diamonback tbh. Very light. very agle. And the buttons are in good places.

plus the mx1000 is fairly large. so you need big hands for it.

I'm using a Logitech G7(Wireless) mouse at the moment and I have to say i definitely prefer it over my MX518, which is just sitting around gathering dust now. I got the G7 2nd hand for a very good price but even so after using it I probably would shell out for it new.

I disagree. I've used both. Paid good money to upgrade to the 518, then it broke. Now I'm back with the 510. Total of about 2.5 years heavy FPS gaming between them. There's no way you'd reasonably tell the difference in-game. At least the price differential is non-existant now.

I always say ask yourself do you have any use for a wireless mouse? I mean do you like to use your mouse away from your computer? are the wires always getting tangled up? Will you actually notice a difference having a wireless mouse to a wired one? If not then stick with wired, less can go wrong. You can never be 100% protected against interference with a wireless mouse. I have an MX610 laser wireless and I like it but thats because I game a bit but I also use the computer as a HTPC so I like to have the mouse over with me at the couch for watching movies. Also my wife right handed and i'm left so the mouse and keyboard are constantly switching sides so wires would just get tangled up. My KB however is wired, as I never need to move it from the computer.

 ya, I got the same & love it.

A mate recommended it, said "its great as it has a very long range & I can watch my porn in bed & not have to get out to turn it off".................LOL
