Apps on O2 BlackBerry 7130

I recently got a CrackBerry from work & was trying to install Google Maps & ATF (the almost free text app) on it. However every time I try to install the app by visiting the relevant site, I get the following error message on the browser:
    HTTP Error 406: Not Acceptable

The page you are trying to load is not supported by the browser. Please try loading a different page.

Just wondering if anyone has come across this before?

Not to sure about your specific case but I know that somebody here has definitely got AFT onto their blackberry. Is there any way to get apps on there not through a browser (eg through a USB cable)?

Found the answer, the company doesn't support installing 3rd party stuff on the the BB so they've blocked it in some way. :(

I've got the cable & desktop s/w but it doesn't recognise a .jar file as being a valid one for installing. Guess I'll need to do some more research.

You might want to ask a user called Akula. He said he installed AFT on his blackberry.
