"Would You Believe?"

Ok so very important notice!

This Sunday 29th October there is a show on RTE called "Would You Believe", most will at least have heard of the show but this week is a special one .... it features one of our own!

I'm sure she wont mind me saying this (and she's probably in hiding anyway) but its our little kittykat (KatieK)

This shy little flower of ours will be the focus of the show, exploring the Paranormal. I have no details of what the show will entail but I've no doubt it will be great.

Oh and its not the first time either that someone had the sense to pop her infront of a camera - following the release of a great book (HERE), I'm reading it at the moment and its an incredibly moving and interesting story.

So now that she's been outed I'd like to see some "hoopin & hollerin" in support of her and make sure you watch on Sunday night!

Now I'm sure it will be hard to drag a few words from KittyKat but the more we chear for her the more she'll blush ..... lay it on people!


On a seperate note - stevenmu & myself will be on EastCoast Radio this Sunday night also but I'll have that interview up on my site early next week just in case there is a clash of times with Katie's show.

Hi all, thanks for the kind words and luck! Think I might need it! I sometimes wonder how I got myself roped into this, but hey, in for a penny, etc.

I havent been about boards much and came on this morning and went.. f**k!:D Thanks 6th (you know i dont mind really)

The programme is going to be called 'Senser' and basically is about an ordinary person (yes, me, lol) dealing with sensing paranormal things since childhood, and kinda where i am with that now. I havent seen it yet, and wont till you lot do, so i am really nervous, but the team who worked on it were sound, and i trust them on this.

Sure Katie, we're behind you 110%, there are alot of people out there who experience things and shows like this will let them know that they are not freaks ... not everyone is lucky enough to have found this forum

Dont know how its going to come across, but yeah, thats what its about for me. Removing the 'weird' factor that stops people being open and accepting psychic ability.
One of the reasons they are calling the programme senser, i think, is because ive always been so uncomfortable with any of the usual labels, clairvoyant, medium etc, which carry preconceived ideas with them.

Was always the same for me, thats why I chose 'sensitive', it suited how i felt about it more.

We went to two locations, private houses, and Im not allowed to say where. One we visited at night, and it was really interesting for me. Really strong feelings, and made me dizzy in there! Will probably come across quite comical, i was doing like evie on MH, "can anybody else feel this???" Did pick up some stuff that the occupants confirmed, and some things they didnt. Was a new thing for me, but loved the opportunity to do it, tho i did have to be careful what i said to the residents. They had to sleep there!

Yeah have been to a few peoples homes now and its always weird cos after you leave they have to stay.

I'll be going to a new one before the Ross trip and what I've heard so far is bizarre!

What time is this due to be on? *Edit: its ok its 10.25pm according to RTE website.

Just finished watching, excellent job girl. You described what probally a lot of people have felt, saw over their own life and you put it so well. You managed to put something that can be an extraordinary ability into a normal sense (if that makes sense). You should be very proud of your self. Nice job, well done.

Great show, people who have paranormal experiences couldnt have been represented any better.

Poblachtach, Katiek wont mention it but there is a book that talks about a part of her life - its called "Restless Spirit: The story of Rose Quinn". Its not written by KatieK but with a busy family life I'm sure we'll be waqiting a while before she gets the chance to put pen to paper - I'd like to see it myself though.

Hi there, thanks guys. Can you believe my tv went off and i havent seen all of it?! All i could do was speak from the heart, and be honest. Im not a professional medium, and I wasnt trying to sell myself as anything. As you can tell im still trying to find out where to go with this thing, but I loved the opportunity to visit the places shown, and hopefully this will lead to more of that. So much for being anonymous on boards, now yiz all know what i look like:D

Its nice to get feedback on what ye thought, was hard to be objective myself. Hopefully it will make people who are going thru something similar not to feel they are alone, or going mad.:)

Boards didnt get much of a mention, and I had asked that the names on the l/h side not be shown. But what did it feel like to have your words spoken on tv, lol

PS Think I have to live a little more before i have the makings of a book!

Hi guys just dropped into this forum as I saw the would you believe programme and recognised katiek posted on boards. Just want to say that it was an interesting programme and although I have never experienced anything remotely paranormal, it is a subject that intrigues me.
