I came across this link on google the other day - it said 'learn street Taekwon-Do' and when I clicked it this came up..

Have they conjured up a new name for KM?

I wonder if Krav Maga Irl is trying to piggyback on the success and popularity of TKD in this country?
Maybe someone who is new to MA might be duped into this kind of thing. I study TKD and have looked at learning some KM - granted KM uses alot of TKD and Karate kicks, stances etc but surely that's where the similarities end?
I had signed up for one of these weekends and cancelled now I'm glad because truly how can one learn anything except the utter basics in 24 hours?
Master W's seminar truly showed me how much I have to learn to master TKD- a lifetime!!

Yes there is a lot technicalities to TKD for sure!

Maybe Millionaire can clarify it.. I know he knows a good bit about KM and he might know this group

It's down to Patrick Cumskey, who runs KravMagaIreland.com,
whatever way he has it set up..
If you put in 'street kickboxing' you get kravmagaireland.com, 'street Taekwon-Do' you'll get kravmagaireland.com, 'bare knuckle boxing' you'll get kravmagaireland.com.. and so on and so on.. wouldn't take any notice..

yeah, what the he does is he uses google adword. (apologies to board...disallowed profanity was used!)

So you can link your site to certain word that people search under.

So for example....if you go to google (or yahoo or other search engines) and type in say "IT Jobs Ireland" sites like irishjobs.ie monster.ie recruitireland.com cpl.ie etc will come up or ,maybe even www.netnation.ie (plug plug, pimp pimp), as they have the money to pay to get to the top of the search engines.

So what he has done is linked all words like TKD, Self Defence, Krav Maga, Kickboxing,MMA , Straight Blast Gym etc whatever etc etc to this web site. so if you type in kickboxing his site comes up....if you click on his link to his site , he costs him the bid price could be. actually I might try it myself right now to see! LOL!

It is on a bidding process....so if you wanted your TKD school to come up on google , you would have to out bid the other schools who are paying the highest price to come up.

Basically there are 2 types of sponsored links the Blue one at the top which have most expensive bidding price, and then on the right side in the coloum, there links have cheaper bidding prices.

You can but a few books on google ads words and how to maximise it for your web business and get coaching from the top experts in the world. 400 usd dollars for 30 mins consultantion over the phone.

Or you could do what Partick Cumiskey did when Aidan (a great bloke and the legit KM man in Ireland) set up www.kravmaga.ie cumisey told all his students in each class for about 2 months to go into google and keep clicking into Aidans site www.kravmaga.ie in order to run up Aidan bills on ad words and try and put his out of business. what a dirty nasty thing to do....that one of the reasons I lost all respect for Patrick Cumiskey aside from the waterdown non KM version of KM he is teaching. Also he threatened to do the same to me, amongst other dirty tricks when I set up my KM.RBSD school in Rathmines.

If this guy was in america....he would have been running Enron or some other boogie company like that!

Right so now, you know how to e market your MA club on the net.... free info from me, which paid and expert to to find it!

so if you use the info and make a few quid....donations to either focus ireland or www.svp.ie to help the poor
and the homeless on the streets of ireland. winter is coming in, its cold and wet, and these people need help.

When I was stuck for a job and money, I worked night security in one of the focus ireland shelters near the fruit markets
and I saw first hand what breaks it gave people to get back on there feet. Sister Stan who set it up, went and lived
homeless herself for a year to learn about it so she can help. a living saint. she do not know me but I know of her.

and xmas is coming, so have a heart and think of those with less, unlike some of the dirty trick money grabbers out there.
