Sky Package Options-not User Friendly

Folks-Just some observations on the Sky Package Options-

My Ideal Package would be Sky Sports/Sky Movies 1,3,5,7,9 and one of the mixes(the one with RTE in it). This would keep us all happy in my house,and the price at a reasonable level. Why do they insist you get TWO mixes?They need to give you the option of getting NO mixes if you want and just a premium channel. Sky say they are flexible with the options- I don't think so.
They are forcing people all the time to pay some of their subscription for channels they do not really want. I think with Setanta getting more and more sport(particularly Irish Sport)that come next year,Sky's package flexibility in Ireland will need to improve otherwise they will lose a lot of customers.I believe you can get Setanta as a Stand Alone €13 a month package on Sky Digital and your Sky sub does not need to be active. Sky may need to make their premium channels cheaper stand alone options then or suffer big time.

If they were flexible you could just tick the channels you want, on Digibox with phone line or web site and that would be your package.

The Sky packages are inherently unflexible.
