    where could a person get their body fat measured, would a gym do this?

    Yeah they should, but if your gym is a branch of a large chain (i.e crunch fitness) they will try and charge u for a full fitness assessment, which is a joke as it takes less than 2mins to measure body fat. Buy your own set of calipers and do it yourself if u want:)

    I have them and they work well. It is good to keep track of your measurements (rather than what the BF% supposedly is), many different techniques and formulas give varying results, so best use the same method on the same spots and track your results that way. Like how people recommend the same weighing scales at the same time each week.
