Hey all... I'm looking for some AF lenses that I can use on my D70s and my F90x... Around the range of 18-70mm and 70-200mm... Maybe a macro-zoom??

I bought an el cheapo sigma from ebay, but it reads the light all wrong...

Price range is about €600 per lens... any ideas??

Go to www.fredmiranda.com. Very good users' reviews of lenses.

hmm... it doesn't even have that 18-200 VR that a lot of people are screaming about...

You could try the Nikkor 28-200mm.

I got the G version of this for £150 on eBay and for the money I think it's great.

Not very wide on digital but works with film

Have a look here for Nikon lens reviews:

If I had 1200 euro to spend, the nikon 18-200mm VR would be top of the list. I'd spend the rest of the cash on a fast prime for indoor shots. maybe an 85mm f1.4 or f1.8 if staying within the budget. Not sure about compatability with your F90x though.....

the 18-200 is a "DX" lens - meaning it would only be good for the D70 (or any nikon slr using the DX sensor)

heres a list of nikon zooms in the range that your looking for - again, anything designated with "DX" will not work properly on your f90
