also,they say they dont send electrical items outside of uk,does ireland count as outside of uk to them?

Afaik I know, they will charge when it has been shipped. Yes Ireland counts as outside the UK.

Amazon won't ship it to you either, outside of the UK. There was a thread on this before, I'll try and find it.

The only place I can think of is lik-sang, play-asia and cd-wow if they decide to stock the actual hardware. Just buy it in a shop, if there's something wrong with it and you bought it from the internet it's more of a pain in the arse to sort it out then, say, bringing it back to Argos or whatever.
