Hey all, new to the boards, anyway, neibhour bought new pc off dell, nearly a grand. When dialing up to internet, it connects fine then starts downloading the web page but then Internet Explorer crashes (not responding) every time. Rang Dell technical call line, operator says its the ISP's fault, not enough bandwidth but i find that hard to believe as my system with same set up is fine.
    Any idea's. Thanks in advance

Is it the same webpage all the time that is making Internet Explorer stall, do you know? Sometimes dial up used to choke for me on certain pages but its so long since I used it.

    Try another browser for starters:
    http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/
