I have just heard Phil Cawley on Today fm say that series 3 is starting on rte 2 on the 31st of this month.

I'm as skeptical as the lot of ye but it's CONFIRMED on Sky One's website that they're starting series 3 next month.. so it's not that far-fetched

im going to ignore them...the ads always have spoliers!!!!!!
and i only go on tv.com during autuem when i have seen up to date 24,lost etc. so i dont get spoilers!

Sky's announcement really made them step it up a gear. I was hoping that they'd do this instead of leaving their finger in and losing thousands in the ratings.

i was afraid of that too. It could have turned into another 24 when Sky started Lost they pretty much gave up on the show.

Thank you for your email regarding Lost.

I'm delighted to be able to tell you that Sky have acquired the rights to years 3 and 4.

I can confirm that Lost will broadcast on Sky One on Sunday 19/11/06 with the first 2 episodes of the 3rd season broadcasting ay 10pm and 11pm, and then on a weekly on Sundays at 10pm. It will be repeated throughout the week on Sky One and Two, however programmes schedules are all subject to change.

The advert was on the TV during Towering Inferno. It begins on Halloween night.

The advert didn't show any new clips though, only bits from the finale of last season.

Series 3 of Lost will begin transmission on RTE 2 on Tuesday 31st October at 10.00 pm.
The series will be preceded by a one hour special which offers fans an insight into some
of the mysteries of the island. The show is entitled "Lost: The Tale of Survival" will be
shown on Monday 30th October on RTE 2 at 9.30 pm.

It was in the Irish Independant on Saturday (21stOctober) on page 6 in the 'in brief' column.

Saw the RTE ad, I think it's good that they didn't show anything from the actual third series.

I know TV.com arent the most reliable all the time, but they're saying the return date for the second part of the season on ABC is Feb 7th. So that's amazing if we'll be getting it only 4 days later!

Now that I'm over the initial excitement (well, i still cant wait to see lost again!) I've just realised.....it's on Halloween night!!! What the hell? I'm going to a partay and I never like taping Lost I always want to see it on the night. I think I'll watch it at the party and just tell everyone to shut the hell up when its on
