i know its not a medical board and anyone who asks medical advice is just told to go to their doctor. that's the advice i'm looking for :)

i've had pain in a testicle for about a week now. my first instinct is to go to my gp of course but he doesn't really have any equipment there. so all i think will happen is he'll feel me up and possibly miss something or just tell me to go somewhere else and charge me €45 for the pleasure.

so what i want to know is would i be best off going to a gp or skipping the middle man and going straight to a hospital or where should i go?

i don't have a job so i really don't want to spend €45 just to be told i came to the wrong place.

    thanks

Go to your gp. If a hospital is needed he will refer you. Think it is free as webmonkey said. I got an x-ray last year with a referral and wasn't charged.

Yep. If there is somewhere you should be going other than your GP there's no way for us to tell you without a. the vast majority of us without a medical degree going to medical school for a few years and b. examining you.

These are both things your GP can do.
