I'd say its a one of a kind alright considering Toyota bought back all the rest of them because the chassis legs rotted out of them and they crushed them.

Seven grand for that rust bucket? Not a chance.

I think though the reason for the high price is the fact it's RWD, and since all that 'drifting' nonsence is a big thing now, people will pay mad money for a RWD car. I wonder if that will push up the price of Lada Riva's then!? :D

I don't think its worth 7k, but its no rust bucket. It looks to be in really good condition, my memory of ever seeing them is that they used to rust, a lot, I never thought I'd see one in that condition. It is in mint condition.

The value of a car like that is how rare it would be to see now, and if you did see it, it wouldn't look like that.

Probably a typo - that zero probably should not be on the end of the price tag :D

Well he is banking on the young boy racer - with no mortage or bills to pay who wants one.

To a lot of young guys money is no object and they will gladly empty their bank account to get the car they want. I seem to recall doing just that when I was 19 - come to think of it - it still happens now and again even now.

Apart from the rear wheel drive this car presents a blank sheet for the modder - so he may get it yet.

Would anybody actually pay for a car like this? A Toyota Starlet...

This world is a fascinating place...

Yeah but that one is FWD and the other one is RWD, thats why its so valuable.
