The Affordable Housing Initiative is different to the Affordable Housing Scheme. There is no waiting list. Every now and then properties become available under the scheme, possibly through land swap deals, and these properties are made available either on a first come first serverd basis or through a lottery or some type.

The prices are more expensive than the Affordable Housing Scheme. The properties in Fingal are from 230K to 340k. They are designed for people who earn up to 56k per annum.

For Fingal, it is worth your while calling them, or even calling into their offices.
