Whatever happened to the Poker Forum Beers?

As above. This topic disappeared from the radar sharpish a while ago. There are 5 types of people that post here.

1. People I know and like - Quite a few poeple, 30ish, maybe more?
2. People I don't know but like from what I read - A good few also, can't really put a number on it.
3. People I know and dislike - Very few, a couple at most.
4. People I don't know but dislike - Some, but not many, again only a handful.
5. People I have no strong opinion of, but are probably nice people - Quite a few too. This is the "everyone else" category.

I know I sound a bit like Rumsfeld with the known knowns etc but there you have it. If the poker beers happened then Category 1 would definitely, and Category 3 may, but hopefully would not, increase. The other categories would almost certainly decrease in numbers.

Enough ranting. Who is on for this? A side note to say I am not volunteering. I am very lazy. It would be preferable if there was only beering involved, as we can play poker anytime. We should also initially choose a place that is over 21 to annoy the students, but then relent

Rightly so, and I hang my head in shame. I nearly found myself doing that exact thing yesterday too but I caught it before I clicked post. It was a fingers issue I fear. I must tighten my cilice now in penance and edit my original post.

Saturday 28th we have the heads up semis and finals and GreenJokerPoker is buying the beers for the balcony in the Fitz. That would be a good informal meetup! I'd love a dedicated night for a poker-beers too though.

Its in the middle of the FitzFest too, so lots of drunken gambling afterwards??
