Is the North-West press, really serving it's readers ?..

Why do I feel that our North-West Press is more interested in the revenue they receive from advertising, than the real concerns of our citizens and are our journalists being restricted in reporting the truth, by 'big business' investors ?..

Hell no its not! What gave you that illusion?! The fact that you can simply submit articles to certain (and therefore probably all!) of the papers and they'll publish them with only the briefest of editorial glances (as their own articles of course) is indicative of the quality of the journalism.

That say, look at how cheap they are! Given their readership size and their price, there's not a whole load you can or should expect. If you want quality Irish journalism, the closest you're going to get is the Irish Times.

I agree with CT on this one.
